It seems like it was only yesterday that my wife and I would sit at the kitchen table clipping out coupons for the weekly grocery trip. I cannot tell you how many times we would search thru the coupons looking for that one coupon. Most of the times there was no coupon for our favorite ice cream. The coupons were always for the other brand. It would have been so nice to spend only a ½ hour looking for coupons. By the time we checked the Sunday paper and then went back to the Wednesday paper for coupons, it was almost noon before we got out the door.

Now with everything on the internet, who needs to get the paper for the coupons. With only a click of a button now, I can go to a website to search for my favorite brands. If I can get my Stock news or my Sports news online, why not my grocery coupons online! The age of the internet has helped the local consumer search for his favorite brand of ice cream or chips.

Those businesses that are not getting involved with internet advertising will one day be closing their doors. We can already see a decline in national newspaper readerships or local newspapers closing their doors. If your company is generating those coupons or advertisements for the Sunday paper, you best be prepared to follow suit. Those who want to survive in this new age must be prepared to use the internet. Online coupons are the way to go for your next shopping trip:
